Mission – To send – To carry on – To entrust- Task assigned. Jesus came on a Mission from Birth to the Cross, which was completed when He cried {IT IS FINISHED}
When the Angels announced His Birth- The Message was, Glory to God in The Highest, Peace on Earth Good will to All Men: Luke 2:10-14: After His Resurrection when He appeared to His disciples, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you: Luke 24:36-49: This is the Mission and Mandate that Repentance and Remission of Sins should be preached in His Name among all nations:
Now the Mission of every disciple is to go to all the world, with this Gospel of Peace, The Good News, so that whosoever that believes can be Reconciled to God, have Peace with God, Peace in God and Peace of God:
Romans 10:9-15: How shall they believe without a preacher, how shall they preach except they be sent; as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of Peace, and bring glad tidings of good things; Eph 6:15: Having your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace: {from the Armor of God} Verses 19-20: And for me, that utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the Mystery of the Gospel: for which I am an Ambassador in bonds, that I may speak boldly as I ought to: 2 Cor 5 :17-21: Any man in Christ is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new: And all things are of God, who hath Reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given us the Ministry of Reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ Reconciling the world unto Himself; not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath Committed unto us the Word of Reconciliation;
Now then we are Ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: We pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye Reconciled to God: For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we may be made the Righteousness of God in Him: This is The Mission to be Accomplished: Tell Everyone: Eph 2:13-17: But now in Christ Jesus, you that were far off are made nigh by the Blood of Christ: For He is our Peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the Law of Commandments and ordinances; to make in Himself of twain one new man, so making Peace: And that He might Reconcile both unto God in one Body by the Cross, having slain the enmity thereby: and came and preached Peace to you which were afar off and to those near: Eph 6:15: Having our feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace: { A Piece of the Armor of God } Eph 6:19-20: And For me, that utterance may be given me, to open my mouth boldly to preach the Gospel: Col 1:20-21: And having made Peace through the blood of His Cross by Him, to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him I say, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven. And you: That were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He Reconciled, in the body of His flesh, through death, to present You Holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight. Verse 28-29: We are to preach Christ; warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labor, striving according to His working, which worketh in me mightily: {By His Holy Spirit} MY MISSION AND ASSIGNMENT TO ACCOMPLISH:
Rom 8:5-11: But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us: Much more then, being now justified by His Blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were Reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more being Reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through Our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the Atonement. {My favorite Scripture} The world needs to be Reconciled to The PRINCE of PEACE:
The Gospel is the only Hope for the Transformation of Lives: OUR MISSION and ASSIGNMENT is continuous:
