FOUNDER OF THE WORK
Ransford G Clahar, after Migrating to the USA, The Vision of establishing The Work was given to him by The LORD.
He was a Member of The Apostolic Church in Jamaica under The Leadership of Pastor R G Griffiths at Bethel Temple. He was the youngest Elder in the Church.
The Work started in 1991, first at his home 1071 NE 171st Terr N Miami Fl 33162 then in a rented facility Howard Johnson 125th St & Biscayne Blvd.
The THEME of the Church is, and continues to be “JESUS IS LORD “
The Mission Statement is to Evangelize / Win Souls / The Building up of the lives of Believers Spiritually.
The First Convention was held at The Omni Hotel – Biscayne Blvd. September 27th 1992
In attendance were Pastor David Morris, Canada, Pastor R. G. Griffiths, Jamaica, Pastor R. G. Clahar, other visiting Friends and Members of the Body of Christ. Sisters Ruth Clahar and Barbara Simpson were ordained as Deaconesses.
We have had many Conventions over the years, attended by many Apostolic Leaders, such as, Pastors David Morris, John Christiansen, R. G. Griffiths, Raymond G. Miller, Vincent L .James, Ken Simpson, Reggie E. Lee, Noel Lowe, Eversley Brooks, Donald Johnson, most accompanied by their Wives.
There were two Ordinations on November 11th 1996, Elder Lloyd Bassett as Pastor, and Bro Ephraim Harris as an Elder.
Pastor R.G. Clahar was Ordained Apostle, November 7th 1999, by Pastor R.G. Griffiths, Brothers Richard Daye and Rudolph Wilson as Elders and Sis Janet Ford as Deaconess.
In 2003, Sis Bernice Almodovar, was ordained Deaconess and Certificates of Ordination were given during our Annual convention, to Sisters Ruth Clahar, Barbara Simpson, Yvonne Bassett, and Special recognition and a Plaque was given to Sis Gwendolyn DeLisser for her Dedication and Commitment to this Ministry. Sis Paulette Russell, Deaconess, February 4th 2007, Bro Herman Cooke, Deacon. Sisters Yvonne Bassettt and Ethel Small were Deaconess from Jamaica, who were part of the Ministry. Sis Shvaugn and Brother Shane Russell Youth Leaders.
New Births, Baptisms and Membership, Baby Dedications, Home Going of a number of our members. Including The Founder of the Work Pastor R. G. Clahar, Pastor Lloyd Bassett, his wife Deaconess and Soloist Yvonne Bassett and many others. They served Faithfully and is Heaven with the Lord. Race well run and they Finished their course. The Lord is saying, well done good and Faithful Servants. There is singing up in Heaven such as we have never known, we will see you soon.
