A very happy father’s day to all fathers.
Are you a father? If you are, your loins have been blessed by our heavenly father to be engaged in the process of procreation, which God had established at the beginning of creation.
It was Jesus who first created the awareness of acknowledging fathers when he taught us the model prayer in Matthew 6:9 that says “after this manner therefore pray ye: Our father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name.”
In this we see that Jesus wants us to acknowledge our heavenly father,
He wants us to reverence our heavenly father, and finally he wants us to respect our heavenly father. Therefore, we are all his children by way of creation but, more so by way of redemption through the finish work of calvary.
