The Aviation Industry is getting the attention of the traveling public, mainly because of the many near misses reported in the news.
Only last week, there were two near misses that caused great panic. As a result, many people are hesitant to travel by air from one destination to another, therefore as of now restoring confidence in the traveling public is of great importance.
Movement in the atmosphere is not only confined to airplanes but, for centuries we are informed from the scriptures and also from Scientists, that there are movements in the celestial bodies. We all can remember over and again how many lives were lost by aviation disasters. It is remarkable how from creation God has placed the sun in its orbit, the moon in its orbit, the stars in their orbit even earth that rotates and other celestial bodies.
Yet despite all these rotations it has never been reported anywhere in the scriptures or otherwise of a collision between God’s creation. Let’s take a look at some of God’s creation. Isiah 40:26 says, “Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who has created these things, that brings out their host by number: he calls them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one fails”.
(Think about that! Apart from the sun and the moon, it is said by Scientists that the number of stars, are in It’s trillion universally. These are all moving bodies and there has never been a collision. It is worth wile noticing that for all these creations, each and every star has a name.
The Psalmist looks at it this way Plasm 48:3-6 “Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars! praise him, you highest heaven, and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord! For he commanded and they were created. And he established them for ever and ever; he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away”.
The functions of these heavenly bodies are under the perfect control of our great creator. He gave them a decree, which must be obeyed. There is great safety in what God created, let us believe in his words.
