Our prayers go out for these two Astronauts that are stuck in space, waiting eagerly, to be picked up.
These are people who have done more than one mission in space, but what should have been an eight-day mission, looks like it will be months before they return. What causes this? Defective vehicle. There Space craft develop problems along the way. Science has improved considerably over the years, but with man nothing is perfect. That being said, there is always a risk.
As a Christian I can’t help but draw your attention to Acts 1: 9-11 “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel. Which also said, ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven”.
(Without the sound of an engine, we have a lift off. Jesus standing vertically defying Earth’s gravity, slowly but purposefully enter into space. The assurance we have of this successful mission, is from the two men, which we believe to be Angels.
This, is, power. We are also told by the Angels that this same Jesus will return the same way as he left. This, is, supernatural, power.
I eagerly await when I also will have this ability according to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
What a day, a glorious day, that will be)
