So as to receive the maximum benefit of worship it calls for a singleness of heart.
The enemy seeks to rob us in time of worship, by creating distractions of various types but, we are told by the Psalmist in Psalms 103:1-5 “Bless the Lord, oh my soul: and all that is within me bless his holy name.
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thy iniquities:
Who healeth all thy diseases:
Who redeemeth thy life from destructions :
Who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies:
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things: so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s”.
(So, the Psalmist is instructing us that when we worship everything in us must be engaged in that act of worship, “let all that is within me”
What is it in us that should be involved in this worship?
(Our heart, our spirit our minds, and all our emotions that within us. We are also asked not to forget his benefits that are stated in verse 3,4&5.
I trust you will find his benefits satisfying enough to give him worship.
