Christianity, Is It a Confusing History?
Reading reports from a discussion conducted by Joe Rogan from the Joe Rogan experience on October 24th, 2025. He and his guests were discussing religion and among many things said was a consensus of all three commentators that, there’s benefits of inner peace and moral certainty religion provide.
Further on in the discussion views from various outside groups on Christianity was mentioned and it is surprising to learn, one such view describes Christianity as a confusing history. The reason given for the confusion was that it happened a long time ago. I commend Joe Rogan and his friends, being intellectually informed as they are for going back to church and humbly showing this level of interest in the word of God.
(Taking a look at what is being described as a confusing history in the minds of some people; we will have to observe that God is a sovereign God knowing the ending from the beginning.
From start to finish the Bible speaks of the redemption plan of God in restoring man to his true purpose. To think that the Bible was written by at least (40) Forty different persons over a period of (1600) Sixteen Hundred Years. These authors were from different backgrounds, among them were priests, tax collectors, persecutor, prophets, fishermen, doctor and kings. The reason it cannot be confusing is that it was coordinated by the Holy Ghost. We read in 2nd Timothy 3:16&17 “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God. and it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
That the man of God maybe perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
We also read in 2nd Peter 1:21” For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost”.
These two scriptures clearly take the confusion not only out of the Bible but, also out of Christianity.
As we close this blog let us read something from the wisest man that ever lived outside of Jesus, Solomon who said in Ecclesiastes 12:13&14 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God And keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether they be good or whether they be evil”.
