We serve a Great – Big – Wonderful God – Always Victorious – Always watching over us:
Who is God? – He is The God of The Universe – of Heaven and Earth, and All that therein is: The Creator – Gen 1-1: In the Beginning GOD –
Col 1:16: By Him were ALL things Created – In Heaven and Earth – Visible and Invisible – Whether there be Thrones, or Dominions, or Principalities, or Powers – ALL things were Created by Him and for Him – He is before ALL things – By Him ALL things consist – Without Him was not anything made that was made – Supreme – Sovereign – Above All – Ruler over All – Sustainer of All His Creation.
The Earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof. The world and all that dwells therein – The silver. The gold – The cattle on a thousand hills – All are His – He owns everything: How Awesome.
God is Omnipotent – Omniscient – Omnipresent – Meaning All Powerful – All Knowing – All Seeing Hjs eyes run to and fro over All the Earth – Ps 139:1-18: There is not anything hid from Him: Job 37:23: Touching The Almighty who can find Him out – He is Excellent in Power – Read to Chapter 47: Isaiah 40 will also enlighten your understanding of Who God is: THE GREAT I AM THAT I AM.
He is – Holy – Righteous – Only True God – Incomparable – He Alone is God – Eternal in the Heavens: Rom 11:33-36: O the depth of the riches both of the Wisdom and Knowledge of God: How Unsearchable are His Judgments and His Ways past finding out.
So how can we know This Marvelous, Everlasting God – Not as Creator – But to Fellowship with Him: John 3:16 God so loved the world, He gave His Only Begotten Son – Believe- Repent- Be Born Again: By hearing the Word and by the conviction of The Holy Spirit – we are His new Creation in Jesus: I have learned so much about God, since Conversion – That His Love is Unconditional, His Mercy Endures forever, His Grace is sufficient, Forgiving, Patient, Kind, He never Leaves or Forsakes us:
Confidence in God means – Trusting Him – not leaning to our own understanding – In all our ways Acknowledging Him so He can direct us – Remembering He made us – And Knows all about us:
We have God The Father – God The Son – God The Spirit who lives in us – Teaching and Guiding: Jesus said to His disciples if you have seen Me, you have seen The Father and to us after The Cross He said Blessed are those who have never seen and yet believe: The Holy Spirit the Third Person of The God-Head – makes known to us that we can approach Our Heavenly Father with Confidence through the Finished work of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ:
We can pour out our hearts to Him – He listens to our cries and dries out tears – comforts and put His loving Arms around us – soothes our fears – heals our broken hearts and strengthens our Faith; He is a Friend who is closer than a brother – loveth at all times – even when we disappoint Him:
Psalm 18:1-50: I will quote some of the Verses – the rest you read for yourself: My Confidence is in God: I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock. and my fortress and my deliverer. My God, my strength in whom I will trust, my buckler and the horn of my salvation and my high tower. I will call upon the Lord who is Worthy to be Praised: He saves, protects, delivered me out of many waters, delights in me, is merciful: The LORD liveth – I Bless and Exalt His Holy Name: In this one thing I am Confident – He who started a good work in me will perform it to the day of Jesus Christ:
