Romans 13:1 declares
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher power: For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
(What we observe here in the scripture especially the last line in verse 1, Is that God is sovereign knowing the ending from the beginning.
Therefore, whether we accept or do not accept the Government we have to acknowledge the sovereignty of God in placing that leader in position).
In Isaiah 55:9
We are told “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
(Humans oftentimes does not understand the behavior of Government, however, we must remind ourselves that every power is subject to the higher power).
So let us close by using what is recommended in Romans 9:17
“For the scriptures saith unto Pharaoh, even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might show my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.”
(So let us be mindful that God has an interest in politics).
