12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
The above scripture alerts us to the fact that many are being led to death and that it is our responsibility to rescue them. The people of God have what it takes (the gospel), to rescue, deliver those that are blind and walking in darkness. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. We are called to be salt and light (See Matthew 5:13-20).
Further, verse 12 says we cannot claim ignorance (that we don’t know). The Lord examines the heart and its motives. He keeps our soul and He rewards obedience. We therefore have no excuse.
Let’s get busy because time is winding down.
The Lord does not accept excuses or reward laziness.
