GO AND DO LIKEWISE

This is The Story of The Good Samaritan: In our world today, there is much need for Good Samaritans: The explanation of this story is, that we help those in need as much as it is in our power to do so: We must be our brother’s keeper. Doing unto others as we would have them do unto us:

Here is this Lawyer who came to Jesus: his profession states that he knows and can argue the Law: When in the Presence of an All-Knowing God, your Creator, do not try your arguments, thinking you can outwit Him: He knows what you are thinking, and as is said, never Man spoke like this: Luke 10: 25- 37: A Certain Lawyer stood up and tempted Him, Jesus, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit Eternal Life? It cannot be inherited, passed down in your family as an inheritance: Jesus said unto him, what is written in The Law? How readest thou? He said:

Thou Shall love The Lord Thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy strength, with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself: Jesus said, you have answered right, this DO and you shall live: But he willing to justify himself, {justify means to be released from sin} no One but Jesus can do this, he said unto Jesus, Who is my neighbor? Jesus gave this narrative, and each one mentioned here is {A Certain Man} meaning, you, I, or anyone, no exception: A Certain man was on a journey, he fell among thieves who stripped him of his raiment, wounded him and left him for dead: He would be dead if help had not come: A Certain Priest saw him and passed by on the other side: Likewise a Levite, he saw him came looked at him, passed on the other side too: How often have we passed people without helping: God forgive us of our insensitivity:

But A Certain Samaritan on his journey, came where he was, saw him and had Compassion on him: Compassion is so lacking in today’s society: He cleaned his wounds, poured in oil and wine, the medicine of the day; maybe we should be using this medicine literally: It speaks more of The Holy Spirit:  He put him on his own beast, today’s motor vehicle, took him to the inn or hotel of today, paid for his stay and whatever other needs he may have and when he returns he would pay the rest: Jesus asked, which of these three, do you think was neighbor to him who fell among thieves?  He said, he that shewed Mercy on him, Jesus said, {GO and DO LIKEWISE}

Jesus is more than that Good Samaritan: He found us robbed, beaten and left for dead by the devil: He had Compassion on us, cleansed our wounds with His Blood, made us whole, poured in the oil and wine of The Holy Spirit, gave us Eternal Life, adopted us into His Forever Family, we are Blessed:

Since Jesus passed by, Since Jesus passed by {stopped to help} O what a difference since Jesus passed by, I can’t explain it and cannot tell you Why, but O what a difference Since Jesus passed by: As a people who have received such Love Grace, Mercy and Compassion from our Great Heavenly Father, through His One and Only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ and the impulse of The Holy Spirit, may we Love The LORD our GOD with all our whole being and love our neighbor as ourselves:

Who is my Neighbor? Anyone who needs help, not just physical help, but Spiritual help also, that they can receive Eternal Life: Obey Jesus’s Commandment to: {GO and DO LIKEWISE}

It is so rewarding to be the feet and hands of Jesus: If you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto Me: He has done so much for us, can’t you, will you? {GO and DO LIKEWISE}
