There is a sense of sadness from the general news network, from the man in the street, and even families and friends relating to information on various subjects.
Let’s ask ourselves a question, in the midst of all this is there something to rejoice about.? The answer is yes.
In Psalm 122:1 David said, “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.”
(What brought this gladness to David? It is going into the house of the Lord. The house of the Lord represents holiness, a sense of reverence, an atmosphere of joy and gladness, but most importantly it represents the presence of the Lord. Another question is, are people today glad for the invitation to go into the house of the Lord? The answer is not on the same level as David did. Although we are not seeing that level of desire, we cannot fail in our witnessing because there’s always someone who will consider the invitation to be good news.
David though a king, found time and interest to go into the house of Lord, let’s follow the king’s example as we join the people of God in worship!)
