Another Name used for JEHOVAH is YAH-WEH, sometimes written as YHWH no vowels. In Hebrew the word means “He will be” When Moses asked God His Name; God responds with ‘I am Who I Am” meaning God does not change. Jewish people wanted to Honor this Divine Name, they replaced it with the word, LORD appearing over 6,000 times in Scripture. It serves as the Personal Name of God. JEHOVAH – YAH-WEH – LORD – same translation.
JEHOVAH JIREH means Provider: First mentioned Genesis 22:1-14: Abraham called the name of the place JEHOVAH JIREH: as it is said to this day. God tested Abraham, saying take thy son thy Only son whom thou lovest and offer him as a burnt offering. He obeyed, took Isaac his son, wood, fire and knife and went to the place. Isaac said to his father; Behold the fire and the wood, but where is the Lamb for the burnt offering. Abraham said, My son God will Provide Himself a Lamb. He built the altar, laid the wood in order, bound Isaac, laid him on the altar. He took the knife to slay his son: The Angel of the LORD, called unto him and said, lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do him no harm, for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thine Only son from me.

JEHOVAH NISSI: YAH-WEH NISSI: Exodus 17:15: means THE LORD MY BANNER: A Flag or Symbol that represents Hope and Purpose: Whatever situation we are facing JEHOVAH reminds us that He will sustain and provide for the need: His Purpose will prevail and we will be able to overcome if we fix our eyes on Him: The LORD helped the Israelites to win a battle. Moses built an altar and called the name of it JEHOVAH NISSI:
JEHOVAH SABAOTH: The LORD IS COMMANDER OF THE HEAVENLY HOSTS: When the battle is so fierce and seems impossible; JEHOVAH – YAH-WEH – THE LORD of HOSTS says stand still and see the Salvation of The LORD – He will fight for us and He never loses:
My thoughts are if; JEHOVAH JIREH did not become the Sacrificial LAMB; none of these Blessings to mankind would have been possible and they are numerous.
