JERUSALEM is spoken of numerous times in The Bible: In the Old and New Testament: It was formerly called Jebus: {Joshua 15:8,18-28, Judges 19:10-11, 1 Chronicles 11:4-5. A Canaanite stronghold of the Jebusites: It was conquered by King David and his men: 2 Samuel 5:6-7: They took the stronghold of Zion: The same is The City of David, 2 Sam 24: Relates the whole story after King David, numbering the people, he bought the threshing floor of Araunah, offering peace offerings to stop the plague: Interesting reading: It also became the site of Solomon’s Temple:

Known also as Zion or Mt Zion: The City of The Great King: KING JESUS: Psalm 48:2: Psalm 2:6: Yet have I set My King upon my Holy hill of Zion: Many Psalms speak of Mt.
