How guilty are we for not praising the Lord?
Judging from the statement made by David the Psalmist it is a command that we should praise the Lord.
If we take a look at Psalm 150, we will see the wide scope of participants praising God.
Plasm 150:1-6 “Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: Praise him in the firmament of his power.
Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with string instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high-sounding cymbals.
Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
(We may never know the language of all God’s creation but, they do communicate with God in one way or another, and it is from that we understand the words of the Psalmist when he said, “let everything that hath breath praise the Lord”.
Looking at Isiah 55:12 “it speaks to God creation offering worship, this is what it says “For ye shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands “.
Let’s find a reason to praise God. How about praising him for his mighty acts? How about praising him for his excellent greatness? How about praising him for his abundant mercy? How about praising him for his abounding love? There are many more reasons to praise God. Let’s go out and find them).
