LOVE COMPASSION MERCY HOPE

LOVE – Agape – Unconditional – Unfailing – God is LOVE:

Greater LOVE hath no man than this, that a man lay down His life for His friends.

But God commendeth His LOVE toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us: God’s LOVE to mankind, is greater far than tongue or pen could ever tell, it will reach you in the lowest pit, or the farthest place on earth – We have all sinned – God hates sin – It would seem that God had a dilemma – The focus of His LOVE for all the people of the world, has what He hates – sin.

But LOVE found a way to separate the sinner from their sin – That is where the Cross comes in. Jesus took our sin upon Himself, paid the price with His own Blood:  Forgave us of our sins and saved us.

COMPASSION – Putting oneself in another person’s place – seeing a need and being moved so deeply – compels to action – to bring about a solution.

But when He saw the multitudes, {He} meaning {Jesus} was moved with COMPASSION on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad as sheep having no Shepherd. The Good Shepherd who laid down His Life for the sheep- All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and The LORD hath laid upon Him {Jesus} the iniquity of us all.

MERCY – Not receiving what we deserve – Punishment for sin – Judgment – The wages of sin is death.

The sin debt was paid by Jesus – a debt He did not owe – He was sinless – we owed a debt we could not pay – we are the guilty ones – He paid it all – All to Him we owe – He was sacrificed in our place. Everyone who has asked for forgiveness, has received MERCY instead of Judgment.

MERCY rejoices over Judgment always: His MERCY is New every morning. His MERCY endures forever – As far as the East is from the West – so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. The MERCY of The LORD is from Everlasting to Everlasting – Unto to them that fear Him – and His Righteousness unto to children’s children.

HOPE – Desire with expectation of fulfillment – To long for – Trust Someone’s Ability and Power to Act.

This HOPE will not make us ashamed – For He Who promised – He is Faithful: The HOPE of the Righteous man will be fulfilled – We are made Righteous through the cleansing Power of The Blood of Jesus.

Those whose HOPE, is in The Lord shall not be disappointed – HOPE thou in God for we shall yet Praise Him for the help of His Countenance and – For His Loving kindness in the daytime – and His songs in night seasons of our lives.

Because of God’s – LOVE – COMPASSION – MERCY – {We} HOPE and Trust Him, to Keep us from falling, and to present us faultless, before The Presence of His Glory with Exceeding Joy. To the only Wise God our Savior, be Glory and Majesty, Dominion and Power, both Now and Ever.
