PEACE

 

John 20:1-21: Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, PEACE BE UNTO YOU. These words were spoken twice to them V19: V21:

They were fearful of the Jews, troubled, in a state of unbelief, lacking confidence not knowing what would happen, very sad, their Leader was crucified, dead and buried in a tomb, all hope was gone:   Mary Magdalene went to the tomb, and found out that he body of Jesus was not there, turning she saw and spoke to Jesus not realizing it was The Lord, until He called her name. She ran to tell the disciples that she had seen The Lord; and that He is Risen from the dead as He said: They went saw that the tomb was empty and believed. They were glad when The Lord appeared to them:

Loss of a loved one, grief, troubles, storms, the unexpected, any disruption to the normal way of life, will cause one not to be able to be calm, to be free from anxiety, which will take away your PEACE: Let not your heart be troubled: {John 14:1} Thou will keep him in Perfect PEACE whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee: {Is 26:3} Keep your eyes upon Jesus:

When the storms of life come to the believer; remember that Jesus is in the boat: The winds of adversity, the raging waves that crashes, all obey The Master’s voice when He says PEACE BE STILL: In order to have this PEACE; one has to have a relationship with The Prince of PEACE: Be Reconciled

Rom 5:1: Therefore being Justified by faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Phill 4:7: And the PEACE of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus: V8 tells us some things we should do, if there is any virtue or praise, think on these things, they will help to keep us Peaceful, pleasing to God and to our fellowmen:

The world does not have PEACE: The Gospel of PEACE must be Preached, believed and acted on: Only then can all the wickedness, hatred of each other, discrimination and violence be resolved:     Is 52:7: How beautiful are the feet of them who bring good news who proclaim PEACE:  {Jer 29:11} For I know the thoughts I think towards you says The LORD, thoughts of PEACE, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope: {Jer 33-6} I will bring health and healing and abundance of PEACE:

Is 48:22: There is no PEACE to the wicked says the LORD: {Is 57:20} The wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt: There is no PEACE saith my God to the wicked, unless they turn from their wicked ways: To God and the Cross: Repent of sins:

Ps 119: Great PEACE have they who love GOD, nothing shall offend them WHY} Jesus said: John 14:27: PEACE I leave with you, My PEACE I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you? Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. What comforting words:

This PEACE that I have, the world didn’t give it to me, and the world can’t take it away: God gave it: PEACE is a fruit of the Spirit: {Gal 5:22} God will bless His people with PEACE: {Ps 29:11}

Num 6:26: The LORD bless thee and keep thee, and make His face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:  The LORD lift His countenance upon thee and give thee PEACE :

Jer 29:7: Seek the PEACE of the city and pray unto The LORD for it, for in the PEACE thereof shall you have PEACE: {Ps 122-7:8} Pray for the PEACE of Jerusalem, PEACE be within thy Walls: SHALOM:
