There are storms we have to go through, but remember the disciples in the ship, in the mids’t of the sea, tossed with the waves, the winds were contrary, and they feared: Jesus saw them, and He sees us too: He walked on the sea to go to them, they were troubled; thinking it was a spirit: Jesus said unto them; BE OF GOOD CHEER; {IT IS I} be not afraid:
Peter said, {If it is You bid me come to You} Jesus said, {COME} Peter obeyed and started to walk on water, but when he took his eyes off Jesus and looked on the waves, he started to sink: But Jesus caught him, they walked back to the ship, even when we become distracted, Jesus sees and helps:
Moral of this story is: Keep our eyes on Jesus, not on the storms, the problems, or situations facing us, no matter how overwhelming they may seem to be: Keep on {Seeing Jesus Only} Matt 14:23-31:
Never bow to any gods or compromise, even if thrown in the lion’s den: The One who created the loins, can close their mouths: You can get a good sleep, while you Worship God: {Seeing Jesus Only} In the fiery furnace, you will not be burned {IF your eyes are fixed Seeing Jesus Only| He is in the Fire:
Why is it so important to fix your eyes on Jesus? Because you have to use your eyes of Faith: What is Faith, it is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen: The Just shall live by Faith: Without Faith it is impossible to please God: Faith cometh by hearing the Word of God: Jesus is, The Author and Finisher of our Faith: He is with us from the Start, During, and to the End: My Friend: Keep your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His Wonderful face, the things of this world will become strangely dim in the Light of His Glory and Grace: Look in Faith: look at all times, see Jesus:
Ps 121:1-2: I will lift mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help: My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth: Ps 123:1-3: Unto Thee lift I up mine eyes, O Thou that dwellest in the heavens: Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden look unto the hand of her mistress, so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that He have mercy upon us.
He is more than I can tell: He is all that you need: See Him upon the Cross: Crucified: Dead: Buried: Resurrected: Come, Repent, and be forgiven, cleansed by His Blood for the Remission of sin: Walking in newness of life, with His Holy Spirit within, to comfort, guide and point us to Jesus: Seeing Jesus makes all the difference: He is God who came in flesh: The Living Self Existing One:
Judges13:1-25: Tells of a man named Manoah and his Wife, who both talked to and saw God, who spoke to them about the birth of a son, she named Samson: V22-23: Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have Seen God: His wife said unto him, If the Lord were pleased to kill us, He would not have received a burnt offering and the meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would at this time told us of such things as these: Such an awesome experience to be in the Presence of God; See Him and Talk with Him:
