There are many Meanings applied to this Word: A Gesture by which a Thought is Expressed: Command or Wish made known: Lettered board or other Display to Advertise a Place or Business: Object placed to convey Notice or Warning: Indicated by a SIGN:
Something material or external that stands for or signifies something Spiritual: The Bible speaks about SIGNS: Applying to any indication to be Perceived by the Senses or Reason: Token applies to something that serves as Proof of something Intangible:
Genesis 9:13: I do set my bow in the Cloud, and it shall be a Token between Me and the Earth:
Each time you see a Rainbow it is a SIGN or Promise made by God, Intangible and Visible:
Genesis 17:11: And you Shall Circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, it Shall be a Token of the Covenant between Me and you: To Abraham and his seed for an Everlasting Covenant:
