Genesis 3:1-21: Our First parents did not believe God. They ate of the fruit of the Tree they were told not to touch. Their eyes were opened to their nakedness. Then they designed Clothing of fig leaves. The Lord God made CLOTHING of skins and clothed them. Since that time mankind is dressing in all kinds of manmade garments.
In the natural, before we put on clean CLOTHING, we have to be washed and made clean: Isaiah 1:16: Wash you, make you clean: V18: Come now and let us reason together, Saith The LORD: Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool: God’s Provision is to be washed in The Blood of The Lamb: Are your Garments spotless are they white as snow, are you washed in The Blood:
Isaiah 61:10: I will greatly rejoice in The LORD, my soul shall be joyful in My God, for He Hath CLOTHED me with The garments of Salvation: He hath covered me with The Robe of Righteousness, as a Bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments and as Bride decketh herself with her jewels: The Lord Our Righteousness has changed our Filthy Garments and has put on The Believer, His CLOTHING of Righteousness: Spiritual and of His Making:
Romans 4:1-25: Abraham Our Father of Faith believed, obeyed God’s Word, it was accounted unto him for Righteousness, not for his sake only was it imputed to him, but for us also: 2 Corinthians 5:21: For God hath made Him {JESUS} sin for us, {Who} knew no sin , that we might be made The Righteousness of God in Him: The Righteous sacrificed for The Unrighteous:
1 Peter 5 -5: Our CLOTHING must also be in Humility: God resists anyone wearing the CLOTHING of Pride: Phill 2: 5-9: Think of {JESUS} CLOTHED in such Humility, that God has Highly Exalted Him and given Him a Name which is Above every Name: Every knee shall bow to Him and every tongue confess that He is Lord to The Glory of God The Father:

He Who gave His Life for us at Calvary, was stripped of His CLOTHING and beaten: Our Savior’s sacrifice on the Cross atones for our sin: Repentance brings Forgiveness, we are made new creatures and dressed in His CLOTHING of Righteousness: Revelations 19:7-9: Let us be Glad and Rejoice and give Honor to Him, for the Marriage of The Lamb is come: His Wife has made herself ready: To her was granted that she should be arrayed in Fine Linen, Clean and White, for the Fine Linen is The Righteousness of Saints:
Matthew 22: 11: One not wearing Wedding CLOTHING at The Marriage Feast, was thrown out.
