Long before Jesus came the Romans used the cross as a form of capital punishment. The pain and the shame that is associated with it, cause it to be the most brutal form of death possible.
This cross is used in the death of our Lord Jesus to humiliate in the worst way possible the Son of God.
The cross, a symbol of suffering. The cross, a symbol of curse. The cross, a symbol of shame. THIS CROSS, because of THE CHRIST has become a symbol of victory Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
In Colossians 2:13-15 we read “And you, being dead in your sins and the u circumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses: Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
THE CROSS AND THE CHRIST nailing together, a symbol of victory, praise His name.
