As part of the Godhead. He knows the Counsel of Heaven: He is God: As in Creation, when the Word was spoken, The HOLY SPIRIT moved upon The Word and everything came into being: Genesis 1:2
When the Word is spoken The HOLY SPIRIT opens the eyes of our understanding, for us to see that we have sinned against God through disobedience: From the fall of man, all have sinned: He points us to Jesus who died upon the Cross, taking our judgment and penalty for sins committed, and by His Precious Blood, our sins were blotted out. All sins can be forgiven, except blasphemy against The Person of The HOLY SPIRIT: Whosoever speaketh a word against The Son of Man; it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever speaketh against The HOLY SPIRIT: it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, or in the world to come: Matthew 12:31-32
When we trust: meaning to believe and repent, after hearing the Gospel of Salvation; we are sealed with The HOLY SPIRIT of Promise; which is the Earnest of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the Praise of His Glory: Ephesian 1:13-14 Not only are we sealed: but the HOLY SPIRIT now lives on the inside of the Believer: We have this Treasure in earthen vessels, that the Power may be of God, and not of us: 2 Corinthians 4:7
We need The Power of The HOLY SPIRIT’S, Wisdom, to teach us Truth, to guide us in the Way of Holiness and Righteousness, to correct, exhort, comfort, strengthen. He brings things back to our remembrance: He prays for us: We do not know what we ought to pray for, but The HOLY SPIRIT, Himself, intercedes for us with groanings according to the will of God: Romans 8:26-27
He empowers us to be bold in sharing the Gospel: Acts 1:8 He is so much to us, we could not make it without Him: That is why, He is called our Helper: He is indeed a Precious Gift from God:
He can be grieved: Ephesians 4:20: quenched: 1 Thessalonians 5:19 and resisted: Acts7:51: none of these is good for us, that is what is called walking in the flesh: That is the old man: Instead of walking in the Spirit: And in the newness of life: Galatians 5:16
