The Hand of God is an expression of Power: The Hand of God is good to all mankind: Gen 1:27: God The Creator made man in His own Image: Gen 2:7: And The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground; breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul: Everything God created was by His spoken Word: But with His Loving Hands He Formed Man:
The Hand of God is a Mighty – Delivering Hand: Ex 2:20: And I will stretch out My Hand, and smite Egypt with all My Wonders which I will do in the midst thereof, and after that he will let My people go
Ex 15:6, 11-12: Thy Right Hand, O LORD, is become Glorious in Power and dashed in pieces the enemy: Who is like unto Thee, O LORD among the gods: Who is like Thee Glorious in Holiness; Fearful in Praises: doing Wonders: Thou stretchedst out Thy right Hand, the earth swallowed them: Pharoah and his people saw God’s Mighty Hand in all the Miracles God did to deliver His people:
Deuteronomy 3:24: Oh Lord God, thou hast begun to show thy servant Thy Greatness and Thy Mighty Hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth that can do according to Thy Works and Thy Might.
Moses was reminding the people that by God’s Mighty Hand he would bring them into the inheritance, promised to their Fathers – Abraham – Isaac – Jacob.
Defeating all their opponents in the land: Sihon King of Heshbon – Og King of Bashan of the remnants of the giants – And the Amalekites: Hittites – Hivites – Perizzites and all the rest:
We are in the Hand of an Omnipotent God: The One who holds the whole wide world in His Hand: Who hath measured the waters in the hallow of His Hand: weighed the mountains in scales, that spreadeth out the heavens as a curtain and as a tent to dwell in: What a Mighty Hand. That Hand that formed man also – guides – sustains – protects – covers – heals and satisfies.
Jesus said I place you in my Fathers Hand and no man can pluck you out of His Hand: Glory to God: The Hands of Jesus were pierced and stretched out on the Cross calling all to Him: His Blood was shed for the remission of the sins of the whole world; to justify and bring us back in a relationship with God: Psalm 136 tells a lot of Who God is and what He has done for us, because of His Mercy.
Psalm 139:1-18 God knows all about us, our going out, our lying down, our waking up, He knows our thoughts: Thou hast beset me behind and before and laid His Hand upon me, no matter where I go even there shall Thy hand lead me, and Thy Right Hand hold me: I belong to God so can you.
My times are in Thy Hand, My God, I wish them there, my life, my friends, my soul, I leave entirely to Thy care: My times are in Thy Hand, whatever they maybe, pleasing or painful, dark or bright, as best may seem to Thee: My times are in Thy Hand: Thy Loving Powerful Hand. My times are in Thy Hand, Lord I trust and hope in Thee, lead Thou me ever onward my path of life decree; I know a Perfect God would not create something defective or let it fall apart: My times are in Thy hand: Teach me to number my days, that I may apply my heart to wisdom.
We are The Sheep of Thy pasture and The People of Thy Hand.
