WHO IS HE: JEHOVAH SHALOM: THE PRINCE of PEACE: Judges: 6:23-24
His Name shall be called The Mighty God: The Everlasting Father: THE PRINCE OF PEACE: ISAIAH: 9:6
There are many more Scriptures, foretelling to Whom this Title belongs.
Over 2000 years ago, there were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flocks by night: And Lo: The Angel of the Lord came upon them, and the Glory of The Lord, shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. The Angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you Good tidings of Great joy, which shall be to ALL People.
For unto you is born this day, in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord: They were told the sign of how to find the Babe. Suddenly, there was with The Angel, a multitude of the heavenly host, Praising God: and saying, Glory to God in the Highest: and on Earth Peace and Goodwill toward man:
How can we have Peace, by receiving the Savior, The Prince of Peace: Scripture says, God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself: not imputing our trespasses unto us: For God hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin that we may be made the Righteousness of God in Him: 2 Cor:5-19-21: What that means is taking our sins upon Himself, paying the price by His death on the Cross with His own Blood, restoring friendship harmony, communion or fellowship, between God and man, and settling differences, we were in enmity with God, since the fall of man: God would not leave us in that state, He Reconciled us.
Now being Justified by Faith, we have Peace with God, through Our Lord Jesus Christ: For if, when we were enemies, we were Reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more being Reconciled, we shall be Saved by His Life: Romans 5:1-21: One of my Favorite Chapters in the Bible:
And having made Peace, through the Blood of His Cross, by Him to Reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven:
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled: Colossians 1:20-21
Think of all that was done by JESUS to bring us back to God, so we can have Peace with God, Peace of God, Peace in God: HALLELUJAH:
JESUS knowing He would soon be going to the Cross, to die for the sins of the world: as The Lamb of God: Buried: Raised from the dead: Be Our Ascended Lord: He promised the disciples to send The Comforter: and with these comforting words to His followers up to this day, He said,
Peace I leave with you, My Peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you: Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid John 14:26-27:
When troubles come, and they will come, Keep your eyes upon Jesus: Isaiah 26:3: Thou wilt keep him in Perfect Peace, whose mind is stayed upon Thee: because he trusteth in Thee:
Peace, Peace, to him that is far off, and to him that is near, says The Lord
PEACE ON EARTH GOODWILL TO ALL: SHALOM: SHALOM:SHALOM
