In some parts of the country at this time every year, it can be expected that cold weather will dominate the discussion.
This year however, the cold weather has affected areas where temperatures are normally high. This brings out speculation as to whether it is climate changes or end time signs.
According to the Bible these climatic conditions should not be a surprise to anyone. We read in Genesis 8:20-22. ” And Noah built an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
And the Lord smells the sweet savour: and the Lord said in his heart. I will not again curse the ground anymore for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every living thing, as I have done.
While the earth remaineth, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease”.
At this point in the conversation between Noah and God, there were only (8) people in the entire world, from the lines of Noah’s sons God would repopulate the earth which today is over 7B Seven Billion. It is interesting to think that God who saw this vast population beforehand, promise the time and season, in which man should live.
Among these times and seasons, God promised cold weather. In this we see that his word shall not return unto him void, but it shall accomplish that which he please.
As we go through this season, let’s remember that the word of God is true and let us give him the glory and the praise, Amen and Amen
