Let me answer that question as it relates to me, to you, and to everyone that has breath. It is to have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus:
How do we have this relationship? John 3:16: God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. Life on earth is temporal. The gift of eternal life comes by realizing that we are all sinners, born and shaped in iniquity. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is Eternal Life: This free gift of grace is given to us by God, when we repent of our sins: We are cleansed by the Blood of Jesus crucified on the Cross: The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world: Repent, whosoever shall call upon The Name of Jesus shall be saved:
It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgment: That time is coming, there is no escaping, so make sure you have received Christ who took our judgment upon Himself: We are forgiven of sin and passed from death to life: The soul that sinneth it shall die: When that day comes, having Jesus as our Savior is WHAT MATTERS MOST:
The scripture says what does it profit a man if he gains the world and lose his soul, or what can he give in exchange for his soul: We can take none of the things that we have accumulated in this world. The houses, cars, furniture, jewelry, bank account, naked we came, naked we go, whether rich or poor: I would rather have Jesus than silver or gold: I would rather have Jesus than riches untold: I would rather have Jesus than worldwide fame or men’s applause, or anything this world affords:
The words of this song say: And when I come to die, give me Jesus, when I come to die give me Jesus, you can have the whole wide world, but give me Jesus. Give me Jesus. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We must know Jesus as our Savior before we leave Earth.
Please make that decision and do not delay, that is WHAT MATTERS MOST:
