There is only one landlord in the entire universe, and that is the Lord himself. This is made clear to us in Psalm 24:1-2 “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; The world and they that dwell therein.
For he hath founded it upon the seas and established it upon the floods.”
Notice what the Psalmist said, “he hath founded it.” When there was nothing according to Genesis chapter 1 God called the earth out of the seas, which we can confidently say it was BUILT BY GOD.
We are also told that God owns everything in it. This is amazing, to think that whatever you can see or imagine, it is all God.
The Psalmist wants to be very clear which God he is talking about, in Psalm 96:5 he said, “For all the god’s of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.”
Help me to worship the Lord Jesus friends, because we are told by John 1:1-3 and Colossians 1:16-17 that he is the one who made all things, and they are being sustained by him.
Let’s face it we are all tenants here, the Lord Jesus is our landlord, praise his Holy Name.
