Florida is in the Storm belt and each year the state brace itself for storm or hurricane and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Many lives have been lost and property damage due to this uncontrollably event.
It is time we give credit to whom it is due. We read in Mathew 8:23-27 “And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, why are ye fearful, o ye of little faith? Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marveled, saying, what manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him!”
Using only words, a raging storm was brought to a calm.
The authority that is vested in Jesus, causes the disciples to ask an eye-popping question, what manner of man is this?
This same Jesus is sitting in your room, sitting in your car, sitting in your classroom, sitting in your workplace, sitting in the church. Can we wake him up? To speak to our storm which is not winds or rain but storms of life, we need this authority in our life.
Let’s wake him up, he is nigh by you

Thank God He never sleeps, He never slumbers, He is in our vessel, if you are a believer you fear no storm, yes He speaks Peace to the storms and they obey His voice. If you are not a believer then ask Him to come into your heart. Lo I am with you always.
