In 1 Samuel 1:2 mentioned is made of Elkanah’s two wives; Hannah and Peninnah. Here are some lessons to learn.
You (Peninnah) gave birth easily because what you brought forth was not much.
Mine (Hannah) was difficult because I was giving birth to the prophet, called to go and anoint David Israel’s king.
Be careful of what comes too easy for you because it can cause you to be puffed up in pride and forget where your blessings came from.
David said I will not offer up to the Lord that which cost me nothing.
Peninah was boasting and annoying Hannah. What she forgot was that they were married to the same husband and had the same source.
The enemy does not fight that which is insignificant. He fights that which is of great value, purpose and significance.
When you know that you are birthing something of significance you don’t give up on it, and you don’t blame others while you travail. You appeal to the one who knows what you are going through, why you are going through, when you are going through, and how to get you through.
The one who says, “I know the plans I have for you”. Jeremiah 29:11

Bless God, this is good. Yes God’s plan for me is the best. No one can thwart His Will for my life. I will wait on His timing, persevere in prayer, until His purpose is manifested for His Glory. Hallelujah, Praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord. Isaiah 54 v 17 No weapon formed against us shall prosper. If God be for us who can be against us. HALLELUJAH.
