Esther 2:21-23
22 And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai’s name.
23 And when inquisition was made of the matter, it was found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was written in the book of the chronicles before the king.
Esther 6:1-3
2 And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
3 And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.
Powerful message, although the Name of God was not mentioned, yet Sovereignty was obvious. He controls, He sees and knows how to bring about deliverance and blessings. When.the king could not sleep, God so caused him to ask for the Chonicles, chapter 6, where it was found that Mordecai saved his life, and nothing was done for him. God remembered his kind deed and he was rewarded. The tables were turned upon wicked Haman. Esther’s one night with the king changes everything. One day in His courts, like today, encourages us, not to miss the moment, who knows whether we have come to the kingdom for such a time as this. Can God use me, yes Lord I am willing.
