The Name of Jesus.

 

The Name of Jesus. First Jesus is God. Very God and Very Man. Isaiah. 7-14:  Behold a Virgin shall conceive and bear a Son and shall call His Name Immanuel, meaning God with us.

Isaiah 9:6: For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the Government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Luke 1:30-31:  And the Angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.

And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a Son and shall call His Name Jesus.

John 3:14-16: For God so loved the world, that He gave HIs Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be Saved.

John 14:6:  Jesus saith unto Him, I Am the Way, The Truth and The Life, no one cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Acts 4:12:  Neither is their Salvation in any other: for there is none other Name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be Saved.

Romans 10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the Name of The Lord shall be saved.

Philippians 2:10:  God has given Him a Name, that at the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of things in Heaven and in Earth and things under the Earth.

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.

Why am I giving you all these Scriptures? There are many more to prove that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.

Matt.3:17:  And lo, a voice from Heaven saying, this is My Beloved Son, in whom I Am well pleased.

If you want to please God, you have to acknowledge His Son Jesus. Many say I pray to God, or I pray to the Father, some even say, I pray to the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself said God is Spirit, and they that Worship Him must Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. He also said, whatever You ask the Father in My Name, He will grant it.

Jesus has many Attributes. He is Holy God, Savior, Redeemer. Good Shepherd, Etcetera. Jesus laid down His Life for all.

John 3:16: For God so loved the world, He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have Everlasting life.  You cannot receive Salvation without believing on the Name of Jesus. We need to use that Name more. There is Power in His Name.
